Addie is the European Liaison for the Global Venture and Fellowship Team. Her passion for social entrepreneurship was ignited when she worked with several social enterprises in South America, including helping to expand an Ashoka Fellow's microconsignment model throughout Ecuador and Guatemala. She graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Development Studies, and completed a capstone thesis on alternative forms of tourism within the developing world as a catalyst for income generation, intercultural exchange and positive community development. Prior to Ashoka, Addie was a co-creator and co-coordinator of the DELL Social Innovation Competition Semi-Finalist Fellowship, supporting an inspiring group of social entrepreneurs worldwide to build a vibrant network of change. She also has experience leading wilderness trips throughout the United States and performing original music on her guitar to benefit national and international organizations.
