I am an economic development professional passionate about both new venture creation and the talent market. Helping people find the roles where their passions and skills align is very exciting to me and I believe frequently leads people to the social sector. I'm convinced that the right fit between people and roles will cause huge productivity gains, and that those gains, coupled with job growth through entrepreneurship, are keys to economic and community improvement. In my current role at LinkedIn, I work to adapt our products to make the more useful in the social sector and best able to connect our members with opportunities to create a positive impact. Previously I founded and managed a social venture incubator in Durham, North Carolina, and a talent market platform to match students with internship and job opportunities with early stage ventures.
