Avani is the Asia Knowledge Team liaison for Global Venture & Fellowship. Avani’s passion for social entrepreneurship began freshman year of college when she co-founded a non-profit in her hometown, Stockton2020: A Clear Vision for a Smarter City, a youth-led advocacy group that aims to revitalize the community through the promotion and development of a better central library system. After receiving her degree in International Relations from American University, Avani worked with women from across the developing world in economic development capacity building and was selected as one of 50 young champions for women at the Women, Inspiration and Enterprise Symposium in NYC in 2010.
