Jim McGinley

Jim McGinley is an entrepreneur and characterizes himself as being in the next phase of his life. He represents Ashoka in the Seattle area. He founded Ashoka’s Youth Venture Seattle in 2008, initiated the launch of Seattle as an Everyone a Changemaker™ city, is Advisory Board Chair of Ashoka Seattle and supports Ashoka in various ways locally and nationally. Jim has executive leadership experience with high tech industry and citizen sector organizations. He has been active as a volunteer/Board member in various organizations including Social Venture Partners (SVP), Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Center for Ethical Leadership and CASA. He is involved with Ashoka Fellow Marc Freedman’s work in building a Global Encore Career movement by leading the launch of Marc’s Encore Fellows program throughout the SVP network of 30 member organizations. Jim and his wife Monica have three daughters who inspire them with their leadership of social change locally/ globally.
