Community Director, Start Empathy
Lennon serves as the Community Director for Ashoka's Start Empathy Initiative, where she leads Ashoka's efforts to find the next wave of "Empathy Fellows," and to distill and share the key principles and practices that underpin their work with educators looking to follow their lead. She first joined Ashoka in 2007, working with Ashoka's global search and selection team and later helped to kickstart Ashoka U's Changemaker Campus Initiative. Prior to joining the Empathy Initiative, Lennon worked with GOOD/Corps, where she teamed up with leading brands, including ABC News, PepsiCo, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to advance social impact causes through digital strategy campaigns. She is the co-founder of The Dinner Party, a collective of men and women out to change the way we approach life after loss through candid conversation and breaking bread, and lives in Los Angeles.
