With a desire to discover the conceptions about Mexico abroad and with her interest in meeting other cultures, she went to study French in the University of the Sorbonne in Paris. When she returned to Mexico she began to study Communications in the Universidad Iberoamericana with the goal of, through the predominance of the media, spreading social issues and generating impact and consciousness of them. Once again abroad, she finished her major with a specialization in Audiovisual Communication in the Universidad Pontificia of Salamanca, Spain. During her time in Spain, she developed and achieved the important sale of organic coffee from Chiapas in the chain of stores “El Corte Inglés” entering in contact with the problem of relationships between small Mexican farmers and the social and private sectors. In 2006, returning to Mexico, she started the creation of two scripts based in the denunciation of problems in Mexican society in relation to those in Spanish society. She worked as Commercial Director in a textile distribution business where she forged important business partnerships with chains of commercial stores and the Mexican and Spain textile industry. In November of 2008, thanks to her interest in the social sector, she began her work at Ashoka in which she dedicates herself to building bridges and opportunities of alliances between the social sector and the business world. To date she is in charge of Ashoka´s operations in Miami focused in scaling social entrepreneurship for The Americas and abroad.
